Jennifer Hudson and acapella group Pentatonix recently joined forces together to sing a stunning rendition of the famous Christian hymn, “How Great Thou Art.” The hymn, which was originally based off of a Swedish poem that was translated by a missionary into the popular modern-day version it is known today.

As always, Jennifer Hudson’s vocal power shows no bounds, and it’s equally amazing to see the Pentatonix team give it their all and keep up with the incredible starlet. The crowd, similarly, seemed to be just as in love with the singing, and they can’t seem to get enough! Bringing forth a combination of modern style with their faith, this group is absolutely perfect in its grace.

The song was performed as part of Pentatonix’s A Very Pentatonix Christmas Special. It was first popularized by Billy Graham, but Jennifer Hudson and Pentatonix definitely bring a modern twist to a Christian classic. The rendition is also on their latest album, A Pentatonix Christmas (deluxe version), that’s out now!
