When the all-girl dance group Deja Vu took to the Britain’s Got Talent stage, something about their energy and confidence meant that they captured the attention of the judges and the crowd right away. Hailing from Glasgow and boasting 47 members aged between 9 and 18, this group was about to bring some serious girl power to the stage.

The confidence they exuded as they introduced themselves was not misplaced either, Music Man readers. As the introduction to Beyoncé’s ‘Run The World (Girls)’ started up, the group launched into a powerful, punchy group routine, leaving judge Alesha Dixon saying ‘wow!’ as one of the smaller members of the group was thrown high into the air.
The music soon changed to the Spice Girls’ ‘Spice Up Your Life’, and as their audition came to an end, it was clear this group had made an impression. They had given an extremely impressive performance, particularly considering their young ages.

Dance groups have always been popular during the audition stages of Britain’s Got Talent. Some Music Man readers might remember the dance group Diversity, who got huge applause from the audience and the judges following their memorable audition and actually went on to win the entire competition.
Whilst Deja Vu sadly did not go on to win the competition, they certainly delivered a performance steeped in more girl power than Britain’s Got Talent had perhaps ever seen before – and for that, they will always be remembered by fans of the show.

Deja Vu’s Britain’s Got Talent audition showcased the Glaswegian group’s charisma, precision and joyful confidence — a thrilling reminder of the exciting young talent on our stages.
